High-isolation DC/DC converters deliver power to IGBT systems

The device’s asymmetric outputs of +15 V and -9 V makes them ideal to power IGBT drivers and means only one converter is needed where previously two were required.
The modules are available with input voltages of 5 VDC, 12 VDC, and 24 VDC and offer up to 6.4 kVDC/1sec isolation. The converters operate reliably at temperatures between -40°C and +90°C without derating and with an efficiency of up to 85%. To meet the requirements of the different IGBT applications, RECOM offers various pin-outs and packages (SIP/DIP). Products are also available with short circuit protection.
The converters are EN60950-1 certified and carry a three year warranty.
