High performance oscillator with extremely low phase noise
The new OCXO’s of the OXP8000 series are housed in a standard 36x27mm package and are available at standard frequencies of 10MHz and 100MHz. The power supply can be 5V or 12V and the output signals Sinewave and HCMOS. In terms of phase noise, the oscillators convince with first-class -178dBc/Hz @100kHz at 5V and -182dBc/Hz @100 kHz at 12V.
Furthermore, a frequency stability of 300 ppb over the industrial temperature range from -40 to +85°C is achieved, whereby the power consumption in standby mode is 120mA at 12V and 250mA at 5V. Aging is indicated at 100 ppb per year.
Due to the outstanding phase noise, Raltron’s OXP8000 series is ideal for civil and military applications of all kinds, whether on land, at sea or in the air.
