In CW (continuous wave) mode, the ADL-83Y51TL will emit 250 mW of output power at 830 nm. Operating in pulsed operation, these devices can be overdriven to produce up to 500 mW. The compact TO-56 housing is hermetically sealed and permits operational temperatures of up to 60°C. The diode is provided with an integrated monitor photodiode for feed-back power control and stabilisation.
