The SMP1345-087LF is a surface mountable PIN diode suitable for use in an RF switch or attenuator circuit. Maximum resistance at 10 mA is 2 Ω and maximum capacitance at 5 V is 0.2 pF. The combination of low capacitance, low parasitic inductance, low thermal resistance, and nominal 10 μm I-region width, makes the device useful in large signal switches and attenuator applications.

The PIN diode has a 2 W dissipation power rating, which makes it capable of handling up to 50 W Continuous Wave (CW) and 500 W peak (1 μs pulse, 1 percent duty cycle) in a shunt-connected transmit/receive (T/R) switch. Thermal resistance is typically 40 °C/W.
