Now available in Europe through TTI, the C0G capacitor ranges offer solutions for new generation power electronics used for alternative energy applications, while the automotive grade series meets the demanding Automotive Electronics Council’s AEC-Q200 qualification requirements.

KEMET’s patented high reliability base metal electrode (BME) dielectric system is 100% Pb-free, RoHS compliant and REACH compliant without exemptions. The devices boast industry-leading CV values, high volumetric capacitance with low leakage current and high thermal stability.  Low inductance and ESR versus frequency allows for very high ripple current capability. Available case sizes are 2824, 3040, 3640, and 4540 available to increase capacitance up to 150 nF with voltages up to 2,000V.  A SnPb-plated termination finish option is available upon request (5% Pb min).

Applications for the ceramic capacitors include switch-mode power supplies, high voltage coupling and DC blocking, lighting ballasts, voltage multiplier circuits, DC-DC converters and coupling capacitors in Cuk converters.
