According to the manufacturer, the KGEA-AF-Series of long-range and ultra-long-range flexible antennas provide up to 5 time more H-field than standard antennas up to 2.5 times the mid-range one. Most LF antennas in the market have a range of 70-80mm for a standard range, 150 to 170mm for the mid-range, and 250 to 350mm for the long-range, but 500 to 700mm for Premo’s Ultra-Long-Range. The Alma Core technology developed in academia together with Premo’s Innovation Center in Málaga is intended for LF emitter antennas in the 20KHz to 134KHz frequency range and overcomes the limits of conventional ferrite cores that are fragile and brittle and cannot be manufactured reliably in long forms. The Alma Core technology reduces component count and simplifies installation, enabling savings over USD100 per vehicle. The product is designed to be flexible and unbreakable thanks to a combination of Solid Echelons, Polymer Bonded magnetics and High Magnetic Permeability nanowires. These flexible core antennas typically meet the AEC-Q200 (specific automotive quality standard) and waterproof specs from IP54 to IP69K. The KGEA-AF-Series comes in a wide range of values, from 100uH to 500uH, for 20kHz, 125kHz and 134.2kHz (with or without capacitor and resistors inside, under request).
