With the combination of visible beam aiming and power delivery in a single-fibre laser for CO2 and Er:YAG laser systems, surgeons now have a light-weight solution that provides safer, easier and faster treatments.”

Meeting a wide range of laser power solutions, the Polymicro Technologies MediSpec Hollow Silica Waveguide fibre is available in 500, 750 and 1000 µm inner diameters (ID) with a wavelength range from 2.9 to 10.6 μm. The Tefzel jacket material is biocompatible and can withstand sterilisation for invasive medical procedures. Various terminations are available upon request, using SMA, ST and FC connectors.
