The new web hosting solution includes compact and silent home-based servers, antsleOS for container-based and KVM-based virtualization, as well as antman, a Graphical User Interface to easily manage VMs.

"With antsle, developers can own their own compact data center in their office or home, able to run hundreds of virtual servers," explains Bernd Blume, CEO of antsle. "This means that there is no reason to share your data and work with Amazon, Digital Ocean, Google or others: All your data is completely in your hands. All for one low price, no matter how many virtual servers you create."

The UNIX-like operating system antsleOS acts as a hypervisor for both containers as well as VMs. The browser-based GUI antman enables developers to easily create and manage antlets or virtual machines (VMs). Unlike other web hosting solutions that require payment for additional VMs, antsle supports hundreds of VMs at a "flat rate". The 1-click installers enable quick and easy installation of many server-side apps.
