Horiba Mira taps Monolith for AI battery testing
AI developer Monolith is working with Horiba Mira for data-driven battery and powertrain development and testing.
The agreement gives Monolith access to Horiba Mira’s in-house R&D battery test data to train and enhance Anomaly Detector (AD) and Next Test Recommender (NTR) algorithms. These cloud-based data-driven applications will integrate Monolith tools in a complete system-level optimisation toolchain to reduce need for expensive prototype vehicles and the time required for powertrain development.
The data driven digital twins, calibration optimisers and global real-world scenario generators provide an eco-system for efficient virtual development and testing, reducing the need for expensive prototype vehicles and time required to develop optimised calibrations for batteries and other powertrains.
These tools will be available to existing Horiba Mira and Monolith automotive customers such as Nio as well as other OEM vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 battery suppliers.
