These discrete, small form factor devices are offered in a low profile plastic surface mount technology package where low resistance, low-series inductance and a large capacitance ratio are required. They are ideal for several markets including WLAN, CATV, energy management, wireless infrastructure and military.

The SMV1213-040LF, SMV1235-040LF, and SMV1236-040LF are silicon hyperabrupt junction varactor diodes specifically designed for 3 V platforms. The specified high capacitance ratio and low reverse voltage make these varactors appropriate for low phase noise VCOs used at frequencies in wireless systems up to and above 2.5 GHz. All come in an industry-standard 0402 footprint.

The SMV1213-040LF features a series resistance of 1.4 Ω typical and high capacitance ratio at low reverse voltage of CT1/CT2.5 = 2.0 nominal.

The SMV1235-040LF features a series resistance of 0.6 Ω typical and high capacitance ratio at low reverse voltage of CT1/CT3 = 1.8 nominal.

The SMV1236-040LF features a series resistance of 0.35 Ω typical and high capacitance ratio at low reverse voltage of CT1/CT3 = 1.8 nominal.
