IAR and DATA I/O partner to bring development and manufacturing closer
The two companies share many customers throughout the industry, but target different areas of the design cycle – IAR focuses on development tools and DATA I/O on programming systems. The growing complexity of today’s designs has driven those two areas further apart, and the two companies have agreed to work together on a solution to bridges that gap.
IAR Systems and Data I/O will therefore look to provide a single workflow that can connect the two processes and simplify the transition from development to manufacturing. The workflow is intended to ensure resource efficiency, speed designs to market and provide high quality software.
Both IAR and Data I/O are convinced that tight integration between development and manufacturing will become even more important as a higher level of security is incorporated into designs. The addition of keys and certificates almost demands a single integrated workflow.
The two companies have committed to integrate the appropriate processes and tools, and assist each company’s network of support personnel.
