Inductive proximity switches respond from 2mm up to 10mm
The sensors are generating a switching signal at approximation depending on the selected types which are available in several materials and defined distances. The inductive proximity switches respond to ferromagnetic metal as well as to nonmagnetic metal objects. The sensor detects these objects in a range from 2mm up to 10mm. The devices offer a mechanical protection according to IP67 and a high resistance to strong magnetic fields. They can be used in welding system applications. There is no performance decrement in a non-ferrous environment such as aluminium and brass. The sensing range can be set at all series with a trimmer. The proximity switches come in standard sizes from 7x7mm up to 210x210mm which can be used as drop-in alternatives.
