
Industrial grade 120W DC-DCs accept wide input range
The units can operate over 9V to 36Vdc input voltage (18-36Vdc for the 48V model), withstanding a 50Vdc surge for up to one second. The converters have efficiencies of up to 91.5% and can operate with baseplate temperatures between -40°C and +105°C. All models have the industry standard quarter-brick pin-out, with a choice of four package types. A flanged baseplate allows for cold plate cooling, or a non-flanged baseplate can be selected for use with standard quarter-brick heat sinks. A cost optimised open frame construction is available for applications with airflow. Alternatively, for harsh environments, an encapsulated plastic case style can be chosen that performs well with minimal airflow in high temperatures. Input to output isolation is 1,500Vdc for the open frame models, 2,250Vdc for the non-flanged encapsulated construction or 3,000Vdc for the flanged encapsulated converters. All models are fully protected, with auto-recovery, against input under voltage, output over voltage, over temperature and over current.
