Furthermore, using SLC allows Nanodura to achieve outstanding performance, with a read speed up to 33MBytes/second and a write speed up to 22MBytes/second. The industrial grade Nanodura USB flash drive is suitable for mission critical industrial applications, such as a boot drive application. The rugged metal housing design, along with ATP’s advanced “System in Package” (SIP) technology covering the interior components, permits the USB drive to withstand extreme operating temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C, to be water/moisture proof, as well as vibration, shock and electrostatic discharge resistant. The SLC ICs can retain data for up to 10 years, while competing MLC products can only retain data for about six months. The reliable Nanodura has an extensive five year warranty, which is over twice as long as the usual two year warranty that comes with MLC products. Nanodura is in compliance with ROHS and most restricted environmental policies. It also complies with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS. The flash drive comes with its ready to be used plug and play feature, in 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities.
