An expansion to its existing USB 2.0 line, these industrial-rated connectors are designed and engineered to USB 3.0 standards to deliver 5 Gbps data speeds – 10 times faster than USB 2.0 – suiting a wide range of applications ranging from data and computing, and consumer and home appliance, through to industrial automation, as well as automotive and commercial vehicle.

The USB 3.0/2.0 compatible Molex sealed industrial USB 3.0 panel-mount receptacles and cordsets blend robust construction and protective features; the IP67-rated USB 3.0 connector assembly features rugged overmoulded cordsets with integral strain relief for robust pull-out resistance and faster installation than field-wired designs, while the IP67-rated dust cap seals the connection when not in use. In addition, the fully-shielded cable provides excellent electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) protection for optimal reliability.
