“Industrial uses for the Raspberry Pi with Eben Upton” webinar available
The webinar shows Eben Upton, CEO of Raspberry Pi Trading talking to users about the Raspberry Pi and its use in industrial applications.
The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ was spefically developed to be used in professional applications. It is powered by the quad-core Broadcom BCM2837 64-bit application processor running at 1.4GHz, and has further enhancements to make it useful in an industrial context. For example, the board has dual-band wireless LAN, improved thermal management, faster Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled RJ45 providing PoE support via a new PoE HAT. The wireless subsystem also has modular compliance certification to ensure the final product needs reduced requirements for wireless compliance testing.
