Infineon hosts virtual trade show on sensor solutions
The “Virtual Sensor Experience” (VSE) digital trade show will look at the use of sensors in the automotive, consumer and industrial sectors. It will feature 22 product demonstrations, 15 live presentations and a digital Makers’ Corner. When the live program is finished, all content will be available on-demand until the end of August.
Registering participants should sign up at the email address below. Then they will receive an access code to gain entry to the digital booth. The booth will be open and freely available for participants to visit from 20 July. Products and application examples will be presented and supported by presentations, eLearning, infographics, videos, 360° views and useful downloads. The booth also features a digital auditorium for live webinars. Participants are able to ask questions and take part in discussions through the real-time chat function.
Topics
Infineon will introduce a new crankshaft sensor for electrical powertrains. The sensor has a dedicated algorithm for hybrid powertrains. The new camshaft sensor also reduces dependence on rare earth materials.
The company will also talk about the expansion of its GMR sensor family XENSIV TLE5014 angle sensor portfolio and the new variants hat have been added for different functional safety requirements.
Infineon will also introduce a new, extremely small 3D magnetic sensor. With a footprint nearly 90 percent smaller and an installation height nearly half that of comparable products, the new sensor opens up completely new design options.
New applications in Infineon’s smart building sensor portfolio will also be presented, including for social distancing in public buildings and predictive maintenance of HVAC systems to detect system failures before they occur. It will also show a reliable measurement for vital signs such as cardiovascular or respiratory functions on a small 24 GHz radar chip
Infineon’s VSE booth will feature numerous other solutions, such as inverters or drives for industrial applications.
