Innovation village to gather over 30 European startups
Lined-up for the event, Managing Director for SEMI Europe Anne-Marie Dutron announced over 30 promising and internationally recognized European start-ups, such as ActLight (Switzerland), BlinkSight (France) and Silicon Line (Germany), each will deliver their pitch in front of investors and SEMICON visitors.
The Silicon Innovation Forum will also include a panel discussion around the theme: Fundraising for the Future Champions of European Electronics: Strategies, Challenges and Opportunities. The panel discussion will be moderated by Jean-Pascal Bost (President & CEO, SATT GIFT) and will include the following panelists: Jacques Husser (COO, Sigfox), Serguei Okhonin (CEO and co-founder, ActLight), Eric Baissus (CEO, Kalray) and Mike Thompson (COO and co-founder, Hotblock Onboard).
On the second day of Innovation Village, visitors will have the opportunity to attend the Innovation Conference – a free, full-day program featuring keynote and invited speakers.
Keynote speaker Nicolas Leterrier, VP of Innovation at Schneider Electric, will speak to visitors and start-ups about Innovation practices while Dan Armbrust, also a keynote speaker and in charge of Industry Relations at Silicon Catalyst, will discuss Lean Innovation.
Other invited speakers include Cees Links (Founder & CEO, GreenPeak Technologies), Sylvie Blanco (Head of MTI, Senior Professor Management and Technology, Grenoble Ecole de Management), Thomas Andrae (Director EMEA, 3M New Ventures), Julien Cristiani (Investment Director and CFO, Aliad Venture Capital, Air Liquide) and Loic Lietar (Co-Founder, KET Foundation).
On its third day, the conference will host a series of start-up demonstrations, open and free for all SEMICON Europa visitors.
