Integrated vehicle anti-ransomware solution for OEMs and aftermarket use
It will be possible for authorised parties to install eCyber after the vehicle left the factory, as well as by the OEM itself.
eCyber is installed between the vehicle’s external communications device and the vehicle’s CAN bus. The solution acts as a secure gateway between outside communications and the CAN Bus, vetting communications for predefined and known parameters and values. It will block any unauthorised communications to and from the CAN bus to stop malicious digital communications disrupting vehicle functionality. The solution is a combination of hardware and software in a compact box.
