INTEGRITY multivisor powers latest automotive cockpit platform
The advanced software-defined automotive cockpit has been based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform running the Android operating system, combined with digital cluster and safety applications in a single ECU. The two domains are safely and securely consolidated and separated by Green Hills’ INTEGRITY RTOS and its Multivisor secure virtualization services.
The MARELLI platform uses real-time INTEGRITY technology, certified up to and including ISO 26262 ASIL D, and Green Hills’ safe and secure Multivisor virtualization services to combine safety-critical services driving multiple displays, such as the instrument cluster with an Android-based IVI system. The platform has two separate AMOLED 1920×720 displays bonded together under a unique glass. In addition, the MARELLI software teams use the ASIL D-qualified MULTI IDE to build and debug their software.
