The new single side single wire PeX supports 5A of AC loads today and will support up to 16A within a few months, projected for the second quarter of 2018. CMoo Systems is the sole vendor of patented Power eXtraction modules (PeX) for a no neutral, no battery-operated smart wall switches and other embedded IoT devices. The lack of neutral or ground wire in the switch side prevents adding electronics to it and the CMee technology was developed to resolve this problem by extracting all the necessary DC power in both On and Off states.

CMoo’s patented technology makes it possible to transform any light switch or bulb into an IoT device without the need to change existing wires or use a battery. The ability to control lights and legacy devices from anywhere and to use the wall switch at any time is one of the technology’s best features plus it allows for the addition of sensors and thermostat functions at the switch and bulb side.

“CMoo Systems is the only provider of this technology, and we are happy to be showcasing it at the CES Eureka Park Expo,” said Eli Ofek, CEO and co-founder of CMoo Systems. “Our products for smart home automation simplifies the way to control and monitor residential homes, using existing infrastructure (no-new-wires), at affordable cost and easy installation.”
