JOT Automation launches Silicon Valley subsidiary
JOT Automation already has started to hire experts for strategic positions. These include Key Account Management, marketing, and technical support. In addition, the recruitments are focusing on bringing JOTs latest technology to the customers in the US, the company said.
The activities in the Silicon Valley are cranked up by JOT’s Vice Chairman Lauri Antila in person. A couple of years ago, the company already has launched a subsidiary in San Diego. For this reason, the new Silicon Valley subsidiary can be regarded as "a natural continuation" of the JOT’s business, the company said. "The share of manual work in Asia is declining continuously; more and more production tasks are completed by robotized work. We see a renaissance of electronics manufacturing in the US", Antila said. "Hardware is the new software".
Among others, JOT produces test and production solutions for intelligent products and components, with focus in terms of test systems on manufacturing tests.
