Just Normlicht spins off measurement business
GL Optic GmbH’s product spectrum includes lighting measurement equipment and integrating spheres as well as related software and accessories, ranging from handheld instruments to precision spectrometers for laboratory use and colour-tuneable LED light sources for a broad range of calibration and colour measurement tasks.
Both companies will maintain strong ties: GL Optic is a 100% subsidiary of Just Normlicht, and the latter’s general manager, Michael Gall, also serves as general manager of the spin-off. He is assisted at the board level by Mikolaj Przybyla and Jan Lalek who assumes the responsibility for research and development. In a related but independent move, the Just Normlicht also spun off its activities in Poland which have been renamed GL Optic R&D.
According to the new company, GL Optic products are in use almost globally. The company sees good chances to significantly increase its market share in Europe. For North America, the company sees likewise encouraging prospects.
