Kaspersky offers custom threat intelligence reporting for automotive industry
The cybersecurity provider’s threat intelligence reports provide car manufacturers with a detailed analysis of industry-specific security threats. They identify those pieces of information that could be used by attackers to carry out attacks on vehicles, connected vehicle infrastructure and other vehicle-related systems.
Kaspersky’s new Automotive Threat Intelligence service helps companies – from vehicle manufacturers to suppliers – stay up to date on relevant security issues that may impact the automotive industry, enabling them to take adequate defensive measures in a timely manner. The customised service identifies known and unknown threats targeting in-vehicle components as well as the connected vehicle infrastructure.
Each report includes an overview and analysis of technological trends on cyber attacks in the automotive industry, such as cyber incidents, recent studies and information on potential attack vectors on the client’s vehicle back-end and service infrastructure. Key services include executive summaries for decision-makers, threat descriptions and recommendations, and OEM-tailored notifications of high-risk activities and vulnerabilities.
If a threat is found that needs urgent remediation, customers are notified immediately, the security provider promises.
