Key switches for harsh environments combine IP67 sealing, SMT and LED backlighting
The K12S Series IP67-sealed key switches feature abuse-proof contacts, 100N overload resistance and self-cleaning golden contacts. The key switches offer an actuation force range of 1.5N to 15N, with a total travel of 1.5-mm. The K12S Series switches also maintain a wide range of contact arrangements (NO/NC and SPST/DPST). Customization options are available, including detect versions.
The K12S Series IP67-sealed key switches feature a maximum power rating of 3 WDC and a minimum/maximum voltage of 2 V – 30 VDC, with a minimum/maximum current rating of 10 µA – 100 mA. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. The K12S Series device is also available in an IP40-rated package for less demanding applications.
The RoHS-compliant and halogen-free K12S Series’ advanced design offers customers the flexibility to tailor force values, actuation travel options and provide double pole single throw (DPST) custom solutions to meet specific application requirements.
