The solution is intended to allow deployed devices without networking hardware to be connected through software.
emUSB-Host LAN supports USB-to-LAN adapters through software plug-ins. SEGGER will allow plug-ins for adapters that use ASIX AX88772/A/B chipsets and any other adapter that conforms to CDC-ECM class or Microsoft’s RNDIS specification.
emUSB-Host LAN has very low memory usage, allowing it to run on a wide variety of MCUs.
