The SLM’s advanced high resolution of 10-bits (1024 gray level) is applied to compensate for the intrinsic spatial optical distortion and aberration in the LCOS device using a LUT (Look-up-Table). The wavefront correction technology is available for several SLM-100 models in optional visible wavelength. Super-flatness is a very important feature in various industrial applications such as astrophysics, precision holography and laser processing to achieve ideal optical performance on the image plane.
