LED displays shine in outdoor use
SuperBright LEDs with very high luminosity and a wide reading angle provide a brilliant typeface. They allow the reading of the display even in direct sunlight or strong ambient light. In addition, the brightness is automatically adjusted to the ambient light and regulated down in the darkness to avoid an overexposure of the display. The white color of the LEDs is found as particularly pleasant, but also other light colors are possible. Numerical displays are available for character representation and alphanumerical displays are available for displaying text information.
Depending on the application, customers can choose among various weather-resistant housing types: Elegant aluminium constructions, with front glass panels with graphics that can be designed individually, or robust steel sheet- or stainless steel housings for use in harsh environments. With regard to climatic influences the housings have an integrated heater and additional climate compensation units to prevent the formation of water condensation. Data transmission to the display is possible via all common interfaces and bus systems, also wireless via radio links or mobile nets. In all cases the systems are configured individually in close consultation with the customer.
