LED ‘fluorescent lamp’ rolls trim luminaire assembly times
The LED light engine for luminaire manufacturers in the form of Prevaled Linear Flex aims to cut assembly times for LED luminaires and will save costs as well.
Currently many luminaires are produced in two versions: one with fluorescent lamps and the other featuring LEDs. Although fluorescent lamps are easily mounted to lampholders, LED assembly often requires more effort because several modules need to be screw-fastened.
Prevaled Linear Flex will be supplied on a 28 meter roll and can be shortened by the luminaire manufacturer to the desired length. The device is then simply bonded into the luminaire for. Assembly simple to its fluorescent lamp equivalent. The pliable design of Prevaled Linear Flex also offers the option to design organically-shaped luminaires with the high efficiency associated with LED technology.
