The Osram Ostar Headlamp Pro is a high-end, high-power light source achieves the same output as a halogen lamp from a 20 mm x 20 mm footprint. Available in 2, 3, 4 and 5-chip versions, the 5-chip version features a luminance of 40*106 cd/m2 and a radiating surface of 5.5 mm, making it ideal for automotive exterior lighting.  The LED also includes uniform light pattern, long life, and a scalable chip arrangement for precise configuration to application requirements.

Peterson Manufacturing introduced a US-designed, tooled and manufactured 7” round aftermarket LED headlight featuring two Osram Ostar Headlamp Pro devices per headlamp (low and high beams). The devices draw only 0.7-1.9 amps, and have a color temperature range of 5400 K to 6300 K, which closely simulates natural daylight. The solid-state dual-volt design is compatible with all 12-volt and 24-volt vehicles.
