Green Life Productions is the only facility in Nevada currently producing medical cannabis, using an innovative permaculture method of growth. In the first phase of the company’s plan, Green Life Productions has purchased more than two hundred of Illumitex’s NeoSol DS fixtures to encourage greater and more expedient harvests. Utilizing their advanced growing technique in tandem with Illumitex’s horticulture LED lighting, the company achieves high quality and consistent yields.

"We chose to work with Illumitex as the team has the products and expertise to help us maximize our yield, while also controlling the chemical compounds in our product," explained Mike Floyd, CEO of Green Life Productions. "Not only do they provide a differentiated product, but they also have a team on staff to help us determine the best ‘light recipe’ for our product.  In our search, we found that Illumitex’s lights allowed for incredible productivity, while also using 60-70% less energy than legacy HID lighting, and, of course, we wanted to use the most efficient products for growing. We are very excited to integrate Illumitex technology into our farm and look to continue ‘growing’ our relationship."

Illumitex’s horticulture LED lighting allows precise management of controlled environments, as well as maximized crop production and profits through consistent yields, improved plant mass and energy savings. The technology delivers active photosynthetic radiation to the canopy. It was designed to be the sole source of light for a numerous variety of horticultural products, cannabis being one.

"Green Life Productions is doing some amazing things with their organic growing method, and Illumitex is proud to be a part of this groundbreaking facility," said Dennis Riling, the Director of Contained Environment Lighting Solutions of Illumitex. "Our LED grow lights are eliciting the exact responses GLP was looking for, making our F3 spectrum a perfect fit."
