The partnership aims to build a global sensory network platform and become the ‘Operating System for smart connected lighting’.

Representing a digitization of LED lighting, GOOEE’s light engines feature patented sensory, two-way communication capabilities and are compatible with a variety of lighting, control and smart systems. The EVRYTHNG platform will enable GOOEE to operate tens of millions of intelligent light endpoints in a global network. The platform also allows it to manage and analyze the huge volumes of data that flow from and around these products, and drive and connect with a wide array of applications.

GOOEE’s professional sensing, control and energy management technology, combined with the scalability and intelligence of EVRYTHNG’s IoT cloud platform for real-time data management, will bring the following benefits and new business opportunities to the professional lighting industry:

  • Increase value in the LED lighting, energy services and smart metering sectors;
  • Power application for greater lighting control and flexibility;
  • Reduced energy and maintenance costs;
  • Access to multiple applications such as security systems (via motion detection), environment management and product scanning for logistics and tracking applications.

GOOEE is an IoT lighting venture whose founders consist of technology, LED and semiconductor veterans with decades of experience in the lighting industry. Selling on an OEM/ODM basis, GOOEE supplies smart LED light engines, sensing optics and communications hardware to deliver multiple business applications at low cost with mass-market reach.

EVRYTHNG’s IoT smart product Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) manages and operates intelligent digital identities for products on the Web on an industrial scale whichmakes it possible to control products, operate applications driven by real-time information and connect products into the broader digital ecosystem.

"This partnership creates a robust operating system for the lighting industry that increases velocity and adaptability with multiple applications connecting and pulling data into one place," said GOOEE CEO Andrew Johnson. "GOOEE’s approach is based upon interoperability and universal accessibility to give the lighting industry a turnkey solution to connect with a multitude of systems."
