LED power supply offers IP67 for exterior lighting
Protection against overtemperature, overvoltage and short circuit (with automatic restart) are some of the GLV75’s features. The power supply comes in a hermetically sealed casing and offers humidity protection according to IP67. With this feature set, the GLV75 is ideal for applications which are safe to touch. This is the case in particular in exterior lighting, for instance in billboard, street and tunnel lighting or exterior building lighting.
With its power factor of 0.95 and a wide input voltage range from 100 to 277VAC, the product can be used worldwide. The power efficiency is 86% when connected to a 110 VAC grid and under full load. The 24V output power supply delivers currents of up to 3.15A. The isolation between input and output resists voltages of up to 3750VAC; output ripple is less than 360mV peak-to-peak. Under power variations the output voltage remains stable within a range of 2% after a settling time of 200ms. Deviations of input voltage and output load never cause a deviation of the output voltage of more than 5%. Turn-on-time is 3 sec.
The operating temperature covers the range from -35°C to +70°C under passive convection cooling. The GLV75 power supply has a size of 168 x 80 x 45 mm; the weight is 0.4 kg.
