The new lamps feature a cubic aluminum construction and are equipped with four or eight solar panels. These panels are sensitive enough to generate sufficient energy even during poor weather conditions to power the LEDs. During daytime, the built-in battery is charged; with beginning of the night the energy is then used to illuminate the surroundings. Due to advanced energy saving functions, one battery charge can power the LED lamps during several nights.

Targeting applications such as residential streets or bicycle roads, Towersun Park is equipped with one LED module. Towersun Twin has two LED light modules which makes the product ideal also for residential streets but also for parking lots. With its service cycle of six years for the batteries and twelve years for the LED modules, both products offer significantly higher durability than conventional street lamps, the vendor points out.
