Light barriers for transparency detection without reflector

These sensors are the only ones that can detect transparent objects with a sensing distance up to 800 mm without reflector, claims the manufacturer. The method, patent pending, can be used for monitoring (horizontal) position and triggering a synchronized process. The teach-in can be effected via the teach wire.
Two sensor versions are available: one for detecting highly transparent foils, pinnacle of transparency detection, as well as one for trays and bottles. The sensors are available in hygienic and washdown design with IP 69K protection and impermeable concept proTect+. The devices are especially suitable for applications in food and beverage packaging.
