Lime Microsystems to demonstrate next-gen field programmable RF transceivers
Lime will showcase numerous customer products and platforms based on its FPRF transceivers for a wide variety of applications including wireless infrastructure, Software Defined Radio and TV White Space.
The company will also show its latest UAV-mounted base station concept. This base station runs on a first generation FPRF chip. This type of flying network has applications in rural areas, and in areas of temporary populations such as disaster zones (https://tinyurl.com/pbraf45).
Lime will also run demos of its highly integrated and low power FPRF product, LMS7002M, in conjunction with a newly developed FPGA design kit, STREAM. The kit, based on an Altera Cyclone IV FPGA has an extensive set of features and peripheral options, including USB 2/3, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and MyriadRF connector.
