Linear position sensor for ±0.64 to ± 50.8mm ranges
These high precision linear sensors are small diameter contactless devices designed for industrial and commercial OEM applications in the factory automation, industrial, and test and measurement markets. The LA-9.5 AC-LVDTs feature infinite resolution, excellent linearity, and a wide operating temperature range, making them suitable for a wide variety of OEM position sensing applications where small size is important. The 9.5mm OD SS body comes in 7 ranges from ±0.64 to ±50.8mm with excellent stroke-to-length ratios, for use in the -55 to 125ºC temperature range. The LA-9.5 series miniature AC-LVDTs operate from a nominal 3 Vrms, 2.5 – 3.3 kHz excitation source. When mated with ASG’s SC-200 DIN-rail-mountable industrial AC-LVDT signal conditioner, an LA-9.5 series LVDT becomes part of a complete position measurement solution, especially where installation space is at a premium.
