Low-cost sub-1GHz sensor node SoM

By eeNews Europe

Powered by an ARM 32-bit Cortex-M4 CPU with FPU, and SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, CAN, USB and GPIO serial interfaces, SensiSUB combines a STMicroelectronics’ SPIRIT1 low-power RF transceiver with certified sub-1GHz connectivity (in 433 MHz, 868 MHz and 915 MHz ranges), and a suite of customisable sensors (including 3-axis accelerometer, magnetometer and digital gyroscope, plus pressure, microphone, relative humidity, ambient light, temperature and UV sensors).

SensiSUB is a self-contained RF platform in a 20 x 30mm form factor that facilitates wireless connectivity for those without prior RF expertise. The SensiSUB SoM is an industrial-grade customisable solution that allows developers to focus on their applications, domain expertise and core competencies.
