Low noise VCO targets satellite communication equipment
This high performance VCO from Z-Communications features a spectrally clean signal of -105 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 23 MHz/V.
The CLV1625B-LF is designed to deliver 0.5±2.5 dBm of output power into a 50Ω load while operating off a 5 Vdc supply and drawing typically 25 mA of current. This low noise VCO operates over the extended commercial temperature range of -40 to 85°C. It features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard, low profile MINI-16L package measuring 1.27- x 1.27- 0.33-cm (0.5- x 0.5- x 0.13- inches).
The CLV1625B-L is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. Typical applications include test equipment and satellite communication applications that require low phase noise performance.
