The compact, high-efficacy arrays are designed for energy-efficient retrofit lamp and downlight applications that require high light output within a thermally and space constrained system.
Philips Lumileds promises that every Luxeon K array is accurate to a single 3 SDCM. This ensures that each lamp and luminaire using Luxeon K arrays will deliver consistently precise color, brightness and lumens per watt. The result is a simplified system design and assembly that increases time to market and reduces costs associated with binning, logistics and inventory management. Additionally, Luxeon K exceeds Energy Star lumen maintenance requirements.
The line also arms LED system designers and manufacturers with a wide variety of lumen, color and size options. Modules are available in 400- to 4,000-lumen outputs; 2,700K, 3,000K and 4,000K CCTs; and 4-, 8-, 12-, 16- and 24-emitter arrays. The arrays are mounted on an aluminum metal-core printed circuit board that ensures a good thermal path between the LEDs and the heatsink on which Luxeon K is mechanically mounted.
The new Luxeon K arrays are available now from Future Lighting Solutions: www.futurelightingsolutions.com.
