This device is suitable for AIS Class B Transceivers, SOTDMA/CSTDMA and Dual AIS Receiver operation applications. The 122- x 55-mm board integrates a high performance dual channel receiver / single transmitter on 161.975 MHz (AIS channel 1) and 162.025 MHz (AIS channel 2). It is built around the flexible CMX7032 Marine AIS Processor platform, with an embedded ARM controller for application code. Out-of-the-box the unit delivers a standalone dual channel AIS receiver and source code which is provided as part of the reference design package. Full AIS Class B transceiver operation can be achieved via a Function Image download, available from the CML Technical Portal.
