It is the first commercially available PCB module using the HiAS2002 low power amplifier combined with the BC-05. It is fully Bluetooth SIG approved and shipped with A2DP, AVRCP, Apt-x audio profiles as standard and AAC enabled to ensure compatibility across the latest smartphones.

At the heart of the module is the HiAS2002 boost amplifier, it delivers two channels of 15W burst power output into 8-ohm speaker drive units and extends battery life by up to 10 times at normal listening levels (and more than 25 hours continuous playback), compared with Class-D amplifiers. The amplifier’s envelope-tracking technology eliminates harsh clipping at high audio levels, ensuring clear sound at all volumes. At moderate listening levels the HiAS2002 wastes much less power than other amplifier topologies. The DyadBA3 module may be entirely powered from a single 3.7V lithium-ion battery. The module incorporates circuitry for 500mA charging from a USB host or 1.5A charging from AC power adapters. It incorporates a stereo microphone input, making it also suitable for desktop or portable VoIP-phone audio portal applications. The board measures 110x46x29mm.
