MCU targets apps that need fast maths processing
TMPM440F10XBG is an ARM Cortex–M4F core-based microcontroller that will find application in digital devices including precision equipment, portable devices and security cameras with motion sensors, single-lens reflex cameras, and amusement machines.
The new microcontroller integrates the ARM core, an original programmable servo/sequence controller (PSC) co-processor and NANO FLASH-100 flash memory. This combination enables the parallel processing of filtering operations and arithmetic operations for various sensor outputs, cutting arithmetic processing time to one fifth that of its predecessor.
TMPM440F10XBG features 1024 kBytes of embedded NANO FLASH-100 flash memory that achieves a zero-wait cycle during random access at the CPU operating speed of 100 MHz. It also incorporates 80 kBytes of ROM and 228 I/O ports in a VFBGA289 package measuring 11 x 11 mm, 0.5 mm pitch.
