Medical-certified 40-W and 65-W power supplies offer safety benefits
The compact and efficient power supplies are available either as open-frame or in a semi-enclosed case.
All modules of the RACM family are equipped with two independent protective measures for maximum patient protection (2xMOPP) – a must for safety in medical technology.
Both of the series operate with an input voltage range of 85 to 264 VAC and deliver 5 VDC, 12 VDC, 15 VDC, 24 VDC and 48 VDC output voltages, which can be trimmed over a ±10% range to meet the exact requirements of the application. All models feature efficiency of up to 93.5%, require no minimum load and can be used at altitudes of up to 5000m at temperatures between -40°C and +85°C. The output voltages are fully regulated and have tolerances of less than ±0.2% over the entire input voltage range and less than ±0.5% over the entire load range. These space-saving 3 x 2 inch modules offer 4 kVAC reinforced isolation between input and output, 2.5 kVAC between output and case, and also meet the requirements for medical applications with patient contact (2xMOPP @ 250 VAC working voltage, 8 mm creepage & clearance).
The modules are approved according to medical safety standard IEC/ES/EN-60601-1 3rd Edition and feature BF-rated outputs with less than 75 µA leakage current. All models have a built-in Class B EMI filter and come with 5-year warranty.
