
The ICS40730 delivers an analog output and comes in a bottom port surface mount package. The analog output can be used by beamforming and audio processing applications. The 40730 improves on the ICS40720, a 70 dB SNR MEMS microphone has been shipping in volume for over two years.
InvenSense claims the ICS40730 is the highest SNR MEMS microphone available. The ICS40730 is now available for sampling and will be in mass production in Q3 2017.
