Operating actuation force is 160gf for vertically operated switches and 200gf for horizontal types. Contact rating is 50mA, 12VDC, electrical life is 100,000 cycles and the terminals are silver plate over nickel. The switch cover is silver plated stainless steel and the base is high-temperature thermoplastic. Switches in the TSS 5400 series are Halogen free and are available with the option of gold-plated contacts. All models have an operating temperature range of -40 to +85ºC.
