Micro-SIM card reader only 16x14mm
The FUS006-8500-0 card reader is a top-mount variant with a very flat construction, only 1.34mm high. Its outer dimensions are 16x14mm. It has 6 gold-plated contacts that, like many other card readers from Yamaichi, have a 2-point contact shape. This shape is designed in such a way that it maintains reliable contact even when subjected to vibrations and shock. The card reader also has a high degree of security against the incorrect insertion of the card. A special design feature automatically stops the card when it is inserted in the wrong direction. The micro-SIM is removed using a small clip. A brief pull sets a mechanism in motion that pushes the card a certain distance out of the slot, making its removal easy.
