The 0.8 x 1.2 x 0.52 mm chip-scale package (CSP) suits the device for space-constrained applications such as smartphones, smartwatches, digital cameras, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and portable test equipment. The TS985 can operate from a supply voltage as low as 1.8V, allowing use in systems powered from a single cell or generally designed to operate from low voltages to save overall power consumption. Typical operating current of 14 µA also helps minimize drain on the battery. High-speed performance comes with typical propagation delay of 300 nsec for rapid response to fast-changing analogue signals. Through its rail-to-rail input, the TS985 accepts signal amplitudes up to the supply voltage. This enables designers to take full advantage of the limited dynamic range when operating from a low voltage.
Features of the TS985 include; 6-bump CSP with 400 µm ball pitch; 14 µA typical no-load current (VCC+ = 2.7V, VCC- = 0V, Tamb = 25°C); 1.8V to 5V supply voltage range; rail-to-rail inputs; push-pull output; and high ESD tolerance: 2kV HBM / 200V MM. The TS985 is priced from $0.29 (1,000).
