Microsemi offers webinar update on programmable solution for fast serial interfaces
Called “Serial Transceivers and Embedded Protocols of SmartFusion2” the webinar will take place April 25 2013 at 17:00 central European time (16:00 GMT, 08:00 Pacific time) and will last one hour. This webinar is intended for design engineers in need of a secure and reliable FPGA platform supporting serial transceiver interfaces. Attendees will receive information on the feature set of the SmartFusion2 FPGA platform transceivers and the embedded protocol logic it contains. The SmartFusion2 transceivers support embedded PCI Express, Triple-Speed Ethernet, and 10G Ethernet functions. Using the SmartFusion2 FPGA other protocols are also available. The Libero SoC toolset will be discussed including the flow for customising and programming the Transceiver blocks.
Topics will include: Physical Media Attachment features; PCI Express Gen1/Gen2 features; 10/100/1G Ethernet features; 10G Ethernet features; and using the Libero SoC development platform to target the transceivers.
Attendees using a PC will need a Windows 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server machine; those using a Mac will need one with OS X 10.6 or newer; and mobile attendees will need iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet. Reservation for the webinar is at:
