MicroSys launches range of QorIQ single board computers
The family includes boards based on the the P2020, P1022, P1013 and P1011 CPUs to provide a range of performance levels from dual to single core functionality and graphics (LVDS) support. Usingthe miriac "MPX System on Module" concept, custom designs with flexible feature/performance configurations can be turned into production rapidly.
The CPU core speeds vary between 533 MHz and 1.2 GHz depending on the processor used. Memory options are 512 MB up 2 GB DDR2 RAM and NAND Flash is offered from 256 MB to 512 MB, while on board I/O interfaces include µSD, SATA, USB, RS232, PCIe and Ethernet. The P1022/1013 CPUs offer on-chip graphics at very high speed into the video memory, which is accessible by a LVDS interface.
The systems are a quick way to implement rugged designs for extreme and harsh environments, particularly in automotive, industrial automation, medical, railways & transportation, construction and defence applications with local support, product longevity and customisation. The operating temperature is 0°C to +70°C and systems for extended temperature of -40°C to +85°C are available on request.
Middleware is available to address market specific requirements such as CAN, EtherCAT or PROFINET, as well as embedded graphics such as XiBase9, Embedded QT or Soft-PLCs such as logi.cad, IEC 61131-3) for control applications. Supported operating systems are Linux, Microware OS-9, VxWorks, QNX, MicroC/OS-II and others are available on request.
The SBC2020, SBC1022, SBC1013, SBC1011 boards are available now. Variants supporting other CPUS such as the P1025, P1016 or P2010 are available on request.
